Renn KIRIYAMA as TAKUMA
Born 1985 in Kanagawa, Japan. Kiriyama made his screen debut with “Rambling Hearts” in 2007. His filmography includes “Bokura no Houteishiki ” (2008), “Beat Rock Love” (2009), “ RUN60” (2011), “KIMI E” (2011) and “Ju-On: The Final Curse – Sota Kitamura” (2015) among others. “I WANT TO BE LOVED” is his first appearance in an international film. He is also known for his role as the male lead and half of the eponymous hero of the TV series Kamen Rider W.
Kurumi SHIMIZU as MIYUKI
Born 1994 in Aichi, Japan. Shimizu began her career in 2007 after winning the grand prize at a hearing organized by Amuse for its 13th anniversary and to which 65,368 people participated. Her filmography includes “Killer Virgin Road” (2009), “Kirishima, bukatsu yameru tte yo” (2012), “ Tooku de zutto soba ni iru” (2013), “Jinx!!” (2013) and “orange” (2015) among others. She is now recognized as one of the brightest young actresses in Japan.
Tomoya MAENO as MATSU
Born 1986 in Okayama, Japan. Maeno made his screen debut with “Mukidashi Nippon” directed by Yuya ISHII in 2005. He is an actor and a director, known for “MOTEKI” (2011), “Kirishima, bukatsu yameru tte yo” (2012), “Kanagawa geijutsu daigaku eizou gakka kenkyuushitsu” (2013), “Hôzukisan chi no aneki” (2014), “GRASSHOPPER” (2015), “THE TOP SECRET” (2016) … among others.
Yoko MITSUYA as KAORI
Born 1984 in Tokyo, Japan. Discovered by the management company Hori agency, Mitsuya started her modeling career in 1990, and made her acting debut a few years later in TV series. She made her screen debut with “Seventh Anniversary” in 2003. Her filmography includes “69” (2004), “Jam Films S” (2005), “Tokyo University Story” (2006), “Curling Love” (2007) and “Taksu / Yokudo” (2014) among others.
Kiki SUGINO as Tomoyo
Born 1984 in Hiroshima, Japan. Sugino made her debut with “One Shining Day” in Korea in 2005. Kim Ki Duk cast her in his 2006 film “Time”. She made her acting debut in Japan with “Clearness” (2008). In the past years, she has also become a producer and a director, starting her own company and producing Magic and Loss, Tokyo-based Malaysian director Edmund Yeo’s short film Exhalation and Koji Fukada’s feature Hospitalité.
